Terms of Service
Article 1 (General Provisions)
- These Terms of Service set forth the conditions for the use of the Service operated and provided by the Company, between all customers who use the Service (hereinafter referred to as "Users") and the Company.
- The Company deems that a User has agreed to all of the contents of these Terms of Service upon using the Service.
Article 2 (About the Service)
- The Service is a social networking service intended for individuals who share common hobbies, locations, and the like to exchange information related to their hobbies over the internet.
- The Service is not available to persons under the age of 18. In addition, even persons aged 18 or over may not register as members if they are high school students.
Article 3 (Measures Based on Monitoring)
- The Service is monitored at all times by moderators, who will delete inappropriate content (images and text) posted by Users.
- If a User generates inappropriate content, other Users may use the "Report" function, whereby a moderator can review and delete the content in question.
- Inappropriate content will be deleted within 24 hours of posting.
- Users who violate these Terms of Service may have their accounts suspended by a moderator or the operator.
Article 4 (Disclosure of Profile Information, etc.)
Profile information that a User voluntarily enters or obtains through the Service may be disclosed to other Users with the User's consent.
Article 5 (Usage Fees)
- The basic services of the Service are provided free of charge.
- Any communication charges incurred in using the Service shall be borne by the User, and the Company shall provide no compensation whatsoever.
Article 6 (Prohibited Acts)
The Company strictly prohibits the following acts by Users, or acts that may fall under the following categories:
- Acts that violate these Terms of Service;
- Acts contrary to public order and morals;
- Acts intended for dating or romantic relationships;
- Acts soliciting compensated dating, prostitution, or the buying of sex;
- Posting content harmful to minors and the like;
- Acts that infringe the privacy or intellectual property rights of the Company or a third party;
- Acts that cause nuisance to the Company or a third party;
- Acts that constitute defamation or slander against the Company or a third party;
- Acts that interfere with the Company's operations;
- Any commercial activity using the Service, except where the Company has given prior consent;
- Acts of impersonating a third party;
- A single User possessing multiple accounts;
- Sharing the same account among multiple Users;
- Providing an account to a third party by transfer, lending, or otherwise;
- Any other act that the Company deems inappropriate.
Article 7 (Withdrawal and Suspension of Use)
- A User may freely withdraw from the Service by deleting the application for the Service at their own discretion. In this case, the User agrees to waive all rights related to the Service (including, but not limited to, rights regarding points).
- Notwithstanding the preceding paragraph, a User may, by registering their email address and password with the Service prior to withdrawal, continue to use their account within one year of withdrawal by downloading the application for the Service again. The User shall use and manage their password with the care of a prudent manager and at their own responsibility, and the Company shall not be liable for any errors in use or unauthorized use by third parties.
- If a User engages in any of the prohibited acts set forth in Article 6 (Prohibited Acts), or if the Company determines that the User's use of the Service is inappropriate, such as by violating these Terms of Service or the various regulations of the Service, the Company may temporarily suspend or terminate the User's use without prior notice. In this case, the Company shall not be liable for any damages incurred by the User. Furthermore, if the Company incurs damages due to the User's acts, the Company may claim compensation from the User.
- In the event of suspension of use as described in the preceding paragraph, the Company shall not provide any refund for point purchase fees or the like.
Article 8 (Information Provided by the Service)
All intellectual property rights to the information constituting the Service (including text, images, programs, and the like) belong to the Company or the third party holding such rights. The Company strictly prohibits any unauthorized use of this information.
Article 9 (User-Posted Content)
- In these Terms of Service, "Posted Content" means any text, images, or other content that a User creates, posts, transmits, or uploads through the Service.
- By using the features of the Service, a User may share Posted Content with other Users. The User acknowledges in advance that Posted Content they post or share will be placed in a state where it can be viewed by other Users.
- Copyright and other intellectual property rights in Posted Content belong to the User who posted it or to the rightful holder. However, the User grants the Company a royalty-free, non-exclusive right to use the Posted Content (including reproduction, public presentation, public transmission, translation, adaptation, and the like) to the extent necessary for providing, operating, improving, and promoting the Service, and for sharing and displaying the content with other Users.
- The User warrants that they hold the proper rights to the Posted Content, or that they have obtained the necessary licenses. If a dispute arises between the Company or a third party as a result of Posted Content, the User shall resolve it at their own responsibility and expense, and the Company shall bear no liability whatsoever.
- A User shall not post any Posted Content that falls under any of the following items:
- Content that violates laws and regulations or public order and morals;
- Content that infringes the copyright, trademark rights, privacy, portrait rights, or other rights of a third party;
- Content relating to obscenity, explicit sexual expression, or child sexual exploitation and abuse (CSAE/CSAM);
- Content involving excessive depictions of violence, or that discriminates against, defames, or insults others;
- Content that constitutes harassment, bullying, or threats against others;
- Content that constitutes false information, impersonation, or spam;
- Content that promotes any act set forth in Article 6 (Prohibited Acts);
- Any other content that the Company deems inappropriate.
- The Company is under no obligation to monitor Posted Content; however, if the Company determines that Posted Content falls under, or may fall under, any item of the preceding paragraph, the Company may delete or hide all or part of such Posted Content without prior notice.
- If a User discovers inappropriate Posted Content by another User, the User may report it to the Company using the "Report" function of the Service. The Company will review the reported Posted Content and take the measures set forth in Paragraph 6 as necessary.
- The Company does not guarantee the retention of Posted Content and shall not be liable for any damages incurred by a User as a result of the deletion, loss, or alteration of Posted Content.
Article 10 (Advertisements)
- The Service may provide Users with advertisements from the Company and advertisers by posting them on the Service.
- While the Company will post advertisements from advertisers that it deems appropriate, the Company does not guarantee the content of such advertisements. Please contact the advertiser directly regarding the content of their advertisements.
- The User shall be solely responsible for any acts arising from advertisements provided through the Service.
Article 11 (Suspension and Interruption of the Service)
- The Company may temporarily interrupt the provision of the Service without notice to Users if any of the following occurs, or if there is a risk of such occurring:
- When a natural disaster or other emergency occurs and the Company determines that operating the Service is difficult;
- When performing maintenance on the Service, adding new features, or carrying out other related work;
- When a problem occurs in the environment or equipment necessary for operating the Service that the Company determines makes it difficult to operate the Service;
- When it is discovered that the Company and the Service are being subjected to disruptive acts, such as the transmission of computer viruses, and it is necessary to interrupt the Service in order to take prompt action;
- When the Company otherwise determines that it is appropriate to interrupt the Service.
- The Company may suspend the provision of the Service if any of the events described in the preceding paragraph continue for an extended period.
- The Company shall not be liable for any inability of Users to use the Service during the period in which the Company interrupts or suspends the Service.
Article 12 (Termination of the Service)
- The Company may, at its discretion and after giving prior notice to Users, terminate the provision of all or part of the Service.
- In the case of the preceding paragraph, the Company may delete the information and data of Users held at the time of termination of the Service, and the Company shall bear no liability whatsoever in this regard.
- The Company shall not be liable for any damages incurred by Users as a result of the termination of the Service. In addition, the Company shall provide no refund for point purchase fees or the like in connection with the termination of the Service.
Article 13 (Disclaimer)
- The Company does not guarantee the completeness, accuracy, reliability, usefulness, or any other aspect of the information provided to Users through the Service.
- The Company shall not be liable for any consequences arising from a User's use of the Service or from system malfunctions of the Service.
- The Company shall not be involved in, nor liable for, any problems or damages that occur between Users and third parties.
- Users acknowledge in advance that it may take time for the Company to respond to inquiries from Users, and that the Company may be unable to respond depending on the content of the inquiry.
- The Company reserves the right, but is not obligated, to view information content such as nicknames set by Users, and to delete or modify any part deemed inappropriate.
- The Company shall not be liable for the content of emails, messages, or posted content created by third parties or Users.
Article 14 (Revision of These Terms of Service)
- The Company may revise these Terms of Service at any time.
- If the Company revises these Terms of Service in accordance with the preceding paragraph, the Company will promptly post the revised Terms of Service for the Service on the Service.
- The revised Terms of Service for the Service shall become effective from the time they are posted on the Service.
Article 15 (Handling of Personal Information)
The Company will endeavor to appropriately manage and protect personal information in accordance with its separately established Privacy Policy (which constitutes a part of these Terms of Service).
Article 16 (Governing Law)
These Terms of Service shall be interpreted in accordance with the laws of Japan.
Article 17 (Miscellaneous)
- In the event of a problem between the Company and a User, both parties shall endeavor to resolve it through good-faith discussions. If litigation becomes necessary despite such discussions, the Tokyo District Court shall have exclusive jurisdiction as the court of first instance.
- Matters not stipulated in these Terms of Service shall be governed by the content separately stipulated by the Company.
